I purchased tickets for movies back in July 25, 2022 I ask for a refund seeing that I can I use the tickets in California undercover tourist denied the refund and disputed the charge from my bank although I told them I’m unable to use the money so basically I’m out of $60 and they got a free $60 never use this they are company they’re scamming people please read the fine print Unfortunately I didn’t and fell into their trap

They fail to tell you about a verification process. This is the headline in their email “ Due to recent events in the news, we are taking extra precautions to protect our customers from fraud.” What recent events? The pandemic, war in Ukraine?

Ive entered the exact amounts as shown on my card statement, both in £ and $, none are accepted. Now I need to contact support. What a waste of time. I’ll pay the extra $4 and buy the tickets direct. Don’t waste your time.

Bought three Disneyland tickets and it was very smooth. At first I was skeptical after reading all the bad reviews, but decided to test my luck since they offer a few bucks off. I did encounter their "validation" progress, but it was super simple - just enter the pending amount they hold on your credit card. After this was complete, I received tickets within one minutes. The tickets were valid on Disney website.

I went to Undercover Tourist to save a few $ on my Mickeys not so Scary Halloween Tickets. Unfortunatley they dont tell you about the "verification" process up front. I'm visiting from the UK and after taking my order online I got an email saying was blocked until someone could call me the next day to verify who I was. Well when you are visiting the theme parks you dont want to have to be listening for your phone all day. I tried to contact them via online chat but they refused to help saying I had to wait for the verification department to call. Next day they called me around 5pm but I missed the call as I was at Disney. I tried calling them back but got a message to say they were closed. When I got back to my villa I registered for Skype so I could call them back the next morning. The line said they were busy and cut me off. Eventually I go through and the guy was insisting that I had to wait for them to call me back. I managed to persuade him to put me through to someone who could help and finally it was sorted.

Was it worth all this hassle to save a few $ a ticket? I dont think so. Surely they can do some verification process online if they require it? As tourists we dont always have mobiles that are free to use in the USA....

Had a great experience with Undercover Tourist. Great prices, great guides/advice on their website and their customer service has been amazing.

The ticket purchasing process is very straightforward. I like that they include an extra security/verification step, especially reassuring when making large purchases.

Stay away from this company especially if you need a refund.
It’s been a month now and I’m still waiting for a refund.
Funny enough they have no problem taking your money instantly but everytime I contact them they state that the refund is still processing.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Like others, I purchased tix, waited, next day got the text to check you cc acct for a small charge and text that amt back to them. I check 5x in 24 hrs w/ no pending transaction. I even called my cc company and they saw nothing. My cc company said they have never heard of this before for any legit purchase. I was actually made contact w/ a rep from Undercovertourist via email with in 15 mins. I cancelled! What year is it? I have purchased thousands of things online from probably 100 merchants and never had this issue. I will be monitoring my cc acct closely in the near future. Something smells!!!!

I came to write another negative review about their ‘verification policy’ but see many beat me to it. DO NOT SHOP using undercover tourist. They are a scam and a huge waste of time. They won’t honour the price they quote you and it’ll end up costing you more plus a huge headache. Never again.

One of the few sites I could buy daily passes for Disney. Tickets emailed within a day and physical tickets arrived from Florida in less than a week. Highly recommend.

Awful. After purchasing $3000.00 worth of Disney tickets, they wanted me to verify a small amount they put on my credit card. I tried 20 times and something is wrong with their website. I tried to use their "contact us" page and it also doesn't work. This is incredibly frustrating as we all got together to book our whole trip and now we are in limbo and can't get ahold of anyone about our tickets. I now have to find time in my work day to call this place and reschedule everything with our whole family. My time is wroth something and they have completely wasted my time. Would NOT recommend.
